Music Ministries
 Christiania has a strong musical heritage that manifests itself in our weekly worship services. We offer two blended worship services each week, using the new “Evangelical Lutheran Worship” hymnal. Our congregation is blessed with many talented and dedicated musicians who eagerly volunteer their gifts to the glory of God to enhance the worship experience.
Choirs
- Youth Bells: A bell choir for grades 7-12, meets Wednesday evenings from 6:00-6:30. Directed by Debbie Lundeen.
- Adult Bells: A bell choir for confirmed adults, meets Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:00. Directed by Debbie Lundeen.
- Youth Singers: A vocal group for confirmation students, grades 6-9, meets Wednesday evenings from 6:00-6:30. Directed by Tom Carlson.
- Chorister Choir: A vocal group for grades K-6, meets Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:10. Directed by Lori Clausen.
- Chancel Choir: A vocal group for confirmed youth through adult, meets Wednesday evenings from 7:15-8:15. Directed by Tom Carlson.
- Spirit Singers: A vocal group of alternating volunteers for summer and specific worship needs, meets as required. Directed by Tom Carlson.
Brass Choir
If you do play, or have played a brass instrument, how about joining our group!
Needed are Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Baritone and Tuba players. We would like to start a group to accompany hymns and play some easy music on Easter Sunday. Additional Music
In addition to the above musical groups, individual vocal soloists and instrumentalists provide special music throughout the entire year.
We invite anyone who has a musical talent they would like to share, either instrumental or vocal, to contact Tom Carlson, our Worship & Music Coordinator, to book a time to share your talent. We encourage young people to share their talents and work with other music professionals in our congregation to glorify God.
