Thursday, August 28 from 2:00 – 8:00 P.M.

Funeral: Christiania Lutheran Church

Friday, August 29 at 2:00 P.M. with visitation from noon – 2:00

Dear Family and Friends,

Now that we have returned to Minnesota, we wanted to give you an update on mom’s condition.

All in all, mom is making incredible progress.  In fact, the doctors have referred to her as a miracle.  She is able to sit in a chair for a couple of hours a day and is starting to walk short distances. Fortunately, she is in a condition where she is comfortable to hold on conversations so we can cope and grieve together.  Words cannot express how much we all miss our dad.  We are still trying to comprehend how this could happen to such a lovable, generous, and heroic man.

We have started to talk about funeral arrangements. Nothing will be done until mom is strong enough to attend the funeral services.  We will keep you updated as plans progress.

It has been difficult dealing with this tragic and sad event so far from home. We are so grateful for all of the love, prayers, and support that have been sent our way!
